In this free 90-minute workshop, participants will get an introduction to DaVinci Resolve, a powerful video editing software that can be used by beginners and experienced alike.  The software can be used to create pitch videos, personal statements, interviews, educational tutorials and a variety of creative work. There is a free version available for your laptop or you may use the version in our classroom.  The session will cover essential features like editing timelines, media pool, transitions, text/ annotations and visual effects. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a basic understanding of how to navigate DaVinci Resolve, how to import footage, perform basic editing  and effects, adding text , transitions and how to export a final project.
