Capacity by set up: 

  • Standing: 200 
  • Seated with rented tables: 110 

Space Use:

  • Reservations are limited to official Georgia Tech hosted events
  • In scope: meetings, luncheons, receptions 
  • Out of scope: events that charge admission, non-Georgia Tech events

Catering: Event hosts must follow the Georgia Tech Catering Providers Policy. All events with food will be required to rent trashcans from Georgia Tech Custodial Services. 

Booking Considerations:

  • Clough Roof Garden events are required to pay a custodial services fee. 
  • A rain plan in a separate location is required for all roof garden events. 
  • Approved events are required to book a run through at least 2 weeks before their event. 
  • Groups over 100 guests are required to hire event security with GTPD.
  • The Clough Roof Garden will remain open to students during events from 8am-5pm.
  • The space is booked as-is. Additional tables and furniture can be rented from your caterer or GT Event Staging. 
  • Gas or electric heaters are not permitted in any area of Clough Commons, including all of the outdoor spaces. 
  • Students and student groups are not permitted to host events in the Clough Rooftop Garden.
  • Requests for space that involve non-student minors require written pre-approval, or exemption from Youth Programs Compliance prior to reservation confirmation. No request involving non-student minors will be confirmed until approval or exemption is issued.   • Alcohol (beer and wine only) is permitted in select areas of the Clough Commons. All Clough events must be in accordance with the Campus Alcohol Policy. Permission to serve alcohol must be acquired by completing an Alcohol Prior Approval Request form.
